Best OpusClip alternatives in 2026

OpusClip is the best-known AI clipper, and it is good at what it does. People look for alternatives for three reasons: the monthly credits run out fast with long videos, the free plan adds a watermark, or they want the clips edited further than a cut with captions.

Short answer

The best OpusClip alternative is NexusClips: Pro is unlimited for $18.99/month (no credits, no watermark), and besides clips from long videos it edits your vertical videos like the most-viewed short-form videos. Vizard is the closest copy of OpusClip for less on yearly billing, Klap counts clips instead of minutes, and Eklipse or StreamLadder are better for streamers.

Disclosure: we make NexusClips, and it is first on this list. Every other tool is described with what it does best.

How the limits work

OpusClip counts credits, and one credit is one minute of the video you upload: Starter gives 150 minutes a month, Pro 300. A single two-hour podcast uses most of a Starter month. Vizard works the same way. Klap counts finished clips (100 a month on Basic). NexusClips Pro has no limit.

How we chose

We compared what limits each tool puts on you (minutes, credits or clips per month), whether exports are watermarked, and how much of the edit is done for you. Prices and limits come from each vendor's own pricing page. We make NexusClips, so it is first on this list.
